A native of the Pacific Northwest, soprano Rochelle Martin holds a BM in Vocal Performance from the University of Washington. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Rochelle studied voice with tenor Vinson Cole, trained at the University of Washington's School of Drama and participated in four years of opera workshop scenes with director Claudia Zahn.

Rochelle's full-length operatic roles include Idamante (Idomeneo), Diana (Orpheé aux Enfers), 1st Spirit (Die Zauberflöte), La Bergere and La Chauve-Souris (L'enfant et les Sortileges), and ensemble in Cendrillon and the musical She Loves Me. She has also performed in opera scenes at both the University of Washington and the University of Southern California. Roles performed include Alice Ford (Falstaff), Lady Penelope Rich (Gloriana), Gilda (Rigoletto), Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Zerlina (Don Giovanni).

Rochelle is currently pursuing a MM in Vocal Arts at the University of Southern California, where she studies with Elizabeth Hynes. Rochelle is also a soprano soloist at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Upcoming solo engagements include a world premiere of John Glover's monodrama, Parveus Meus Mallus, a recital in April, soprano soloist at the West Coast Chorale, and Eve in Henry Mollicone's Beatitude's Mass for the Cathedral.
